Community Invited to Provide Feedback on PF&R's FY 2011-12 Requested Budget

Portland Fire & Rescue’s (PF&R) FY 2011-12 Requested Budget was submitted to the Office of Management and Finance on January 31, 2011. The submitted budget complies with the City Council’s directive for public safety bureaus to identify 75% one-time reductions, which equates to $671,910 of PF&R’s general fund discretionary resources.

A Community Budget Forum was scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2011 at David Douglas High School BUT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.
Citizens will have the opportunity to provide input to City Council and Bureau Directors on PF&R’s Budget and other city budgets on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Wilson High School located at 1151 SW Vermont Street from 6:00-8:30 pm.
