As discussed in an earlier press conference today that included State and local experts conferring about public health and radiation, Portland Fire & Rescue is releasing the attached video featuring:

Grant Coffey (Portland Fire & Rescue Haz Mat Coordinator) Daryl Leon (Environmental Public Health/Radiation Health Physicist) Dr. Jon Jui (Multnomah County Health) Dr. Richard Leman (Multnomah County Health) Gail Shibley (State Environmental Public Health Administrator)

The video contains a panel discussion amongst inter-agency partners and provides in-depth information on types of radiation, effects of radiation exposure, current status of public safety in Oregon, and why the public should not worry about radiation exposure at this time resulting from Japan's compromised nuclear facilities.
