Close to 150 children took part in a local Easter Egg Hunt yesterday morning, searching for eggs hidden all over the Peninsular Park Community Center’s property in North Portland.
Lieutenant Mike and Firefighters Rashaan, Tim, and Chris from Portland Fire & Rescue’s (PF&R) Station 8 were surprise visitors during the festivities, bringing by Engine 8 for a show and tell and distributing fire safety coloring books and junior firefighter sticker badges.
Prizes where given to lucky children who found special eggs.
