The 2.5 mile “Bridge to Bridge” route left many dogs and their owners thirsty, and participants enjoyed their stop over for water at Portland Fire & Rescue’s Station 21 just under the Hawthorne Bridge.

Not only is the annual event a great people and pet watching opportunity, but 100 percent of the proceeds goes directly to the Oregon Humane Society, raising upwards of $200,000 for animals in need.
