One of Portland’s Daisy Girl Scout Troops took a tour of the Historic Belmont Firehouse on Wednesday afternoon.  The tour was guided by Fire Inspector Specialist Scott Goetchius. 

Scott led the troop and chaperones around the station for some hands on learning about Portland Fire & Rescues past and present, as well as some very knowledgeable safety tips.  To top it off, at the end of the tour, the troop got a chance to slide down a real fire pole.
