Turkey Meat Loaf
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Pound(s) Ground Turkey
- 1/2 Pound(s) Ground Turkey Breast
- 1/3 Cup(s) Optional Ketchup Use As A Topping
- 1 Cup(s) Unseasoned, Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs
- 3/4 Cup(s) Onion(s) Finely Chopped
- 1 Teaspoon(s) Dried Basil
- 2 Teaspoon(s) Dried Oregano
- 2 Garlic Clove(s) Minced
- 1 Large Egg(s)
- 1/2 Cup(s) Carrot(s) Shredded
- 1/4 Cup(s) Fresh Parsley Chopped
- 1/2 Cup(s) Green Or Red Bell Pepper(s) Minced
- 1/4 Cup(s) Red Bell Pepper(s) Minced
- 3 Tablespoon(s) Optional Ketchup Use As A Topping
- Salt (to Taste)
- Pepper Ground, (to Taste)
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine all ingredients except 3 tablespoons Ketchup in a large bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9 x 5 inch non stick loaf pan.
- Bake 1 hour, uncovered.
- Remove from oven. Spread 3 tablespoons ketchup, if desired.
- Cover lightly with foil and let meatloaf rest 10 minutes.
- Cut into slices and serve.
