I hope to be in town that day and make just a minute or two comments on behalf of Centennial Community Assn and to welcome back the crews of Portland Fire and Rescue and Gresham Fire. We have all been so pleased that the station is now up and running and the crews doing their terrific job serving our two communities in Outer East. As has bee stated by PF & R, this station was the busiest in the City last year (2010)and comes as no surprise to most of us who live out here, for the fire engine's familiar siren sound is a welcome sound to those who need the help that is coming to them and the men and women who man Engine 31 always deliver the vital service in fantastic fashion and dedication. So welcome back, the Centennial Community Assn. and all who live out this way say, you are best and thanks for being here for us 24/7.
If I can't be here to read this personally, I know Tom Lewis our President of CCA or someone else will do so.
