March 30, 2012 -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSA) is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products. In March 2012, CPSA announced several product recalls because they create fire hazards including adjustable mattress bases, ceiling fans, utility vehicles, desktop computers, and LED nightlights. Click here to view the recalls and product safety news.
