At 8:37am Portland Fire & Rescue responded to a report of a natural gas leak at 7648 N Willamette Blvd. Fire crews arrived to find a one inch natural gas line that had been struck by a piece of equipment. Fire crews evacuated adjacent homes and are monitoring the leak. NW Natural just arrived on scene and are working with fire crews to stop the leak.

No injuries have been reported. Please use alternate routes to avoid delay. More information will be given as it becomes available.
