Tuesday morning, Nick and I visited an amazing group of students at Grant High School. Students in a news magazine production class, these youth got the chance to engage in a dialogue with Nick and talk about the things that really matter in their lives. Topics discussed include the impact that the media has on politics, Occupy Portland, homelessness, and the Grant Field Project.

This visit was organized as part of the Multnomah Youth Commission's partnership with Nick's office through the elected liaison program.

This Spring, three more school visits are tentatively scheduled for Franklin, Madison, and Roosevelt High Schools.
