April 4, 2018

This morning, Nick was honored to be a panelist for a discussion on trust in business and government.

KGW's Brenda Braxton moderated the panel. The panelists were Regina Lawrence from the University of Oregon’s journalism and political communication center, Wei-Li Chong, President of KinderCare preschools, and Stephen Kehoe from Edelman.

You can learn more about the report here or watch the live stream here.

Today is the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, which was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson in 1968. Its main goal is to integrate neighborhoods and end bias in housing.

City Council honored the anniversary with a proclamation, public hearing, and other events throughout the day. Commissioner Fish made brief remarks after Mayor Wheeler read the proclamation, which you can read here.
