Ahead of the 2010/2011 budget process, Commissioner Fish and Parks bureau Director Zari Santner want to hear which Parks programs matter most to you. Along with Parks bureau senior managers, the Commsissioner and Director Santner are hosting a Community Meeting at Benson High School tonight at 6:30 pm (546 NE 12th).

Last year, when the bureau's budget was cut by 5%, the programs you advocated for - senior and youth programming, Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation programs, and more - were protected. Again, the bureau is being asked to plan for budget cuts, and the Commissioner and his Parks team want to hear about your priorities within Parks.

Your feedback helped the Parks team shape programming last year, and will again. Please join the Commissioner and his team tonight.
