Portland's economy will get a boost from Resource Access Center project

At the groundbreaking ceremony last month for the Resource Access Center in Northwest Portland, speaker after speaker praised the project for improving services to the down and out.
"It will serve as the center of the city and county's ambitious 10-year plan to end homelessness, " Housing Commissioner Nick Fish said at the Nov. 19 event that drew dozens of public officials, social service providers and homeless advocates. "It is a door that will always be open."
