While the housing market has changed dramatically recently, the desire for homes hasn't. Local resources for homeowners and potential buyers are more important than ever. This Saturday, ROSE Community Development will present the 5th Annual East Portland Homeownership Fair at Ron Russell Middle School (3955 SE 112th.)

The Fair will offer a number of resources for new homeowners and prospective buyers: foreclosure workshops and counseling; "Ask the Expert" panels; a wide range of homebuying and homeownership workshops; free lunch; and information about local organizations. The event will also feature a drawing for a $4,000 Homebuyer's Assistance Grant, presented to one lucky attendee.

Translators are available for those who speak Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
