Resources to address Portland's most critical housing needs are projected to decline while need continues to increase in the down economy. Now more than ever, the Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) must be strategic in its prioritization of funds and programming.

Staff at PHB want to hear your feedback on their priorities and strategic direction. Next Monday, September 13, the Commissioner Fish and PHB staff will host a Community Forum on the bureau's Strategic Plan.

At the Forum, PHB staff will share findings from its community survey on housing needs and ask for your thoughts on:

- How public funding can best address the continuum of housing needs in the region

- Which financial and organizational resources should be priorities

- What the bureau's strategic direction in the next three years should look like
