Congratulations to the Portland Japanese Garden and their week long celebration of eight master gardeners.

Special kudos to the Executive Director, Steve Bloom and Board President Ed McVicker for their continued commitment and vision.

Nick had the privilege of attending the dinner last night honoring these individuals, and their incredible work over more than 50 years.

As described on the Portland Japanese Garden website: Famous for bringing the beauty, harmony, and aesthetics of Japanese gardening to the world—with a particular impact on gardens in North America—these directors [came] together for the first time in the history of the Portland Japanese Garden.
