"When was the last time you raised your hand in class?"

This Thursday, more than 100 local leaders representing the public, private, and non-profit sectors will shadow school principals in the Portland area as part of Principal for a Day, presented by the Portland Schools Foundation and celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Principal for a Day participants get to greet students in the morning, visit a faculty meeting, roam the halls (without a hall pass!) and get an intimate look at a day in the life of a school.

Nick is excited to be "Principal" of King Elementary this Thursday. We hope to have lots of photos Friday, so check back!
