Congratulations to the Portland Parks Foundation, which hosted a great holiday event at the Pittock Mansion last night. The Winter Celebration offered guests the opportunity to hear about the Parks Foundation's plans for 2011, enjoy the music of local acoustic duo 21june, and tour the historic mansion. Nick and members of our Parks team had a great time at this beautiful Parks site.

For 10 years, the non-profit Parks Foundation has worked to cultivate a new community of donors to ensure the long-term stewardship of our parks. Funds raised by the Parks Foundation support the construction of parks in park-deficient neighborhoods in Portland and the enhancement of existing parks, and ensure that park programs are a community benefit shared by all.
