ABCs of Homebuying
March 1, 2011
Buying a first home can be intimidating. It can be confusing. It can even be so overwhelming that people give up on their dream of homeownership.
Fortunately, there are a number of groups in our community that work to demystify the process through classes, workshops, and individual counseling.
Hacienda CDC, one of our outstanding community partners, offers a monthly course called "The ABCs of Homebuying." The two-part class is offered on the first Tuesday and first Saturday of each month.
The class offers help understanding the many aspects of homebuying and homeownership. It's designed to help potential homebuyers make sound financial decisions, and to help homeowners keep their home healthy and sound.
This month's class begins tonight at 6:00 at the Baltazar Ortiz Community Center (NE 67th and Killingsworth.)
If you have questions about purchasing a home or want to buy your first home and are unsure where to start, this is a great class for you!
And if you're unable to make it to tonight's class, the course is offered monthly, so you'll have another chance in April.
