Register now for the Tree Inventory Summit!

Story by Sophia Kecskes
Are the leaves opposite or alternate? While you may not regularly think about this, everything tree inventory volunteers do is determined by the answer to this simple question. Volunteers for Parks' tree inventory program spent this past summer collecting tens of thousands - yes, thousands! - of tree data points in six Portland neighborhoods, and are now ready to present their findings. With the data these amazing volunteers collected, Portlanders can now learn much more about their urban forest.
Do you want to learn more about the findings of the tree inventory project? Do you want to help shape the neighborhood tree plan for your community? Do you want to help make Portland a greener, more natural place to live?
If so, join us for the Tree Inventory Summit!
