Dial 211 from a landline or (503) 222-5555 from a cell phone to reach 211info. General information hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm. Shelter information is available daily 8am - 7pm

Visit Bud Clark Commons at 650 NW Irving. Daytime drop-in services are available Monday to Friday, 7am - 7pm, and 8am - 4pm on the weekend

Emergency Shelter for Women

Available now: Salvation Army Female Emergency (SAFE) shelter. Call 503-227-0810 any time or visit 11 NW 5th  daily from 7am - 11pm

Opening next Tuesday, November 15: 70 additional beds. To access, call 503-280-4700 or visit Bud Clark Commons Monday - Friday from 7am - 7pm, Saturday/Sunday 8 am - 4 pm

Emergency Shelter for Men

Available now: Portland Rescue Mission, please call 503-906-7690 or visit 111 W. Burnside at 5:45pm any night of the week to enter bed lottery, no guarantees. Lottery takes two hours until final decision. Portland Rescue Mission operates 24/7.

Opening next Tuesday, November 15: 70 additional beds at Salvation Army Harbor Light, SW 2nd & Ankeny. For availability, call 503-239-1259 any time. The queue for beds starts no earlier than 6 pm and is first come, first served. Staff will not be available on site to answer questions until Nov 15th.

Emergency Shelter for Youth Through Age 23

Available now: 60 Beds on a first come, first served basis at 1635 SW Alder. Beds are available Monday through Friday between 8:45pm and 6:30am (under 21 will be served first, ages 21-23 should show up no earlier than 9:30pm for a bed). For more, call 503-432-3986 or 503-222-5933 after 5pm.

Emergency Shelter for Families

Call 211info 8am - 7pm daily or visit 12505 NE Halsey. This is a walk-in facility only available to families with children under 18 years of age.
