Two benefit concerts have been scheduled to raise money for Harper's Playground, a nonprofit working to make a North Portland park accessible for kids and adults.
Donations will go toward a play structure at Arbor Lodge Park that will include wheelchair access, activities for the hearing and visually impaired, and other accessibility elements. The playground is expected to cost $350,000, about 75% of which has already been raised.
The first concert will be from 7:30 to 11 p.m. on January 25th at Vie de Boheme, 1530 S.E. Seventh Ave. A $10 donation is requested.
A second concert will be held from 7 to 10:30 p.m. March 14 at the Crystal Ballroom, 1332 W. Burnside St. Tickets for that show are $25.
