Healthy Bodies, Healthy Planet Earth Week Exhibition

Monday, April 16 - Friday, April 20

1900 SW Fourth Avenue, First Floor Lobby

In honor of Earth Day, the Bureau of Development Services and the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, present Healthy Bodies/Health Planet: An Earth Week Exhibition. The local food exhibit will showcase information about farmer's markets, the proposed food code, community gardens, a how-to on growing, buying and cooking seasonal fare, and more.

Introduction to Permaculture

Growing Gardens introduces the concept and theory of permaculture - a gardening technique inspired by natural ecosystems and ecological design principles - and will provide practical tools to start applying it in your garden. Register for this event to learn the location.

Getting Your Garden Started Class

1 - 2 pm @ June Key Delta Community Center

Join Portland Community Gardens for a free, interactive, hands-on class taught by Oregon Tilth on how to get your garden started.
