Emmy Award-winning duo Joe and Harry Gantz recently shared their thoughts with The Oregonian about their current production of "American Winter."  "American Winter" powerfully documents the struggles of American families, with a focus on Portlanders who call the 211 Info resource hotline to access services like emergency shelter, groceries from food banks, assistance paying utilities, or medical and mental health care.

The production of the film is wrapping up, and the producers are working to raise an additional $25,000 within the next couple weeks to help finalize the documentary.  An IndieGoGo page has been set up to gather donations.
