Poetry on the Piazza

As part of Portland Parks & Recreation's Summer Free For All events, downtown's Director Park is featuring Poetry on the Piazza every Monday starting at 6:30 pm.
This week poetry features Escritorio Publico/Plaza of Public Writing. Based on the model of Plaza de Santo Domingo in Mexico City, the public will be invited to join the "plaza of public writing," and work with the plaza’s scribes to turn a plea, pledge, rant, declaration, seduction or curse into a letter, lyric, poem, song, prose or other creative work.
