New State Foreclosure Prevention Website

We are happy to announce that Oregon has launched a new foreclosure prevention website. The site, OregonHomeownerSupport.gov, features resources for homeowners in foreclosure or borrowers who have lost their homes to foreclosure.
While there are existing foreclosure prevention sites already, this site is designed to compile all programs available to Oregon homeowners in one location. The site will also serve to differentiate between legitimate resources and other fraudulent offers.
Additionally, the site features a search tool for nearby housing counseling agencies, which help Oregonians negotiate compromises and navigate the complicated foreclosure process.
We're happy that work is being done at the state level to combat the problem of foreclosure. This site joins two additional recent steps toward foreclosure elimination at the state level. Take a look at these two stories from our website:
