Hacienda Community Development Corporation, one of our homeownership and affordable housing partners, recently announced a new partnership with the Oregon Department of Housing and Community Services (OHCS).

This partnership will provide Hacienda CDC with the resources to hire six new housing counselors for Hacienda's Homeownership Support Program. 

The Homeownership Support Program provides free group education and one-on-one counseling to homeowners who are in foreclosure, in default, or at risk of falling behind with payments. 

In conjunction with their partnership with Hacienda CDC, OHCS has launched a new website, oregonhomeownersupport.gov, where homeowners can easily find information about foreclosure as well as housing counselors in their area.
