Halloween is just right around the corner, and Portland Parks & Recreation is celebrating!  This Saturday, October 20, PP&R is hosting several fun Halloween activities for you and your family:

Pumpkin Mash

1:00-3:00 PM

Creston Park

SE 44 & Powell Blvd | 503-823-3183

Ready, carve, roll! Set up your pumpkin with some wheels and a decorative shell as we race it down Creston Park Hill. Racing is all in good fun so the bigger the crash, the louder the cheers! $3 per pumpkin racer. Must register before the day of the event; call 503-823-3183.

Costume Carnival

5:00-7:00 PM

East Portland Community Center

740 SE 106 Ave | 503-823-3450

A great evening of carnival games, face painting, and crafts; appropriate for preschool and grade-school age children with an adult. Evening concludes with a costume parade! Tickets are 4/$1 at the door, unlimited game bracelet available for $5. Bring 2 cans of food and earn 4 FREE tickets.

Halloween Monster Mash

6:00-8:00 PM

Southwest Community Center

The wind is howling and the moon is full: it’s time! Wear your costume to impress friends and scare goblins. Get into the spirit and dance with other sociable ghouls, make creepy crafts, and play bewitching games that only come out once a year! Games, prizes, obstacle course, costume contest, crafts, movie, music, Casper's Corner (baby garden), photo fun, and more! Meal available for only $3!
