Do you have a memorable story from Portland Parks & Recreation’s Peninsula Park? We would love to hear from you!
Originally built in the early 1900s, the park's amenities include the city's first public rose garden and first community center, a historically designated bandstand, and Portland's second-oldest playground.
The Park’s two-acre, 10,000-rose garden is one of Portland's most beautiful formal rose gardens, and a favorite location for special events.
To share your story about the park, its community center, or its rose garden, contact Danielle Solomon, 503-823-6175 or danielle.solomon@portlandoregon.gov.
Your story could be shared at the park’s centennial celebration next summer.
