Yesterday, Nick was proud to attend the Grand Opening of the new Hacienda CDC futsal field!

The project represents Hacienda’s commitment to providing a continuum of services for the Cully community. As Larry Bingham reported in The Oregonian “the court, paid for through individual and corporate donations, brings to a park-deprived area of the city a state-of-the-art facility.”

Futsal is a variation of soccer played on a smaller field and mainly played indoors. The new field was created through a partnership with the City, Hacienda CDC, the Portland Timbers, Verde, and Adidas.

Thanks to all of our partners for building a safe place for children to play in the Cully neighborhood.
