Yesterday, Nick enjoyed a tour of the United Bicycle Institute’s (UBI) facilities in North Portland.

For more than 30 years, UBI has been a leading bicycle mechanics school.  Ron Sutphin, president of UBI, showed Nick some of the incredible workshops and classes that are preparing the next generation of bike manufacturers.

Bike manufacturing is a $7 Billion industry, and Portland is frequently rated the number one biking city in the nation. There’s no better community than Portland to support innovative programs like UBI.
