Portland Building welcomes The Tenacity to Change
February 13, 2014
Artist Joseph Kucinski will present his art installation, The Tenacity of Change, in the Portland Building beginning February 18.
Kucinski’s art exudes wonder and curiosity from simple circumstances. His inspiration comes from a quote from his childhood: “The world was alive and everything in it could be a new adventure, even the mundane garage had infinite possibilities.” His artwork references the excitement and mystery the future holds.
Use your imagination and be inspired! The installation, situated in the lobby of the Portland Building, runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm, through March 14.
The installation is part of an ongoing Art Series managed by the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC). Through a juried process, RACC selects challenging and diverse works that encourage interest and public dialogue about the role of artwork in public spaces.
