Since their inception, ADX Portland and Portland Made have focused on growing the city’s light manufacturing sector through a core Portland value: collaboration.

The two organizations can now include another core Portland value: creating opportunity.

In partnership with the Equity Foundation, ADX and Portland Made have created a scholarship fund, called Make it! FUNd, to, “help train students in the design and manufacturing sectors.”

Light manufacturing plays a key role in promoting family-wage jobs in Portland. Thanks to ADX, Portland Made and the Equity Foundation, this new scholarship fund will strengthen the pipeline from education and training.
