Regional H2O
September 30, 2014
The Regional Water Providers Consortium has launched a new website, www.regionalh2o.org, to act as a regional go-to site about water services, water conservation, and more!
The Consortium was formed in 1997, and includes 21 water providers throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. The City of Portland is proud to be a member of the Consortium, which focuses on improving the management of municipal water supplies in the greater Portland area.
With three pivotal programs - emergency preparedness, regional coordination, and water conservation -the Regional Water Providers Consortium is a great resource for Portlanders to learn more about our region’s drinking water, and the water providers who collaboratively manage our regional water system.
Check out their website to learn more about the Consortium, ways to conserve water, prepare your family in an emergency, and more!
