Yesterday, Nick was proud to honor the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. W.G. Hardy Jr. with a proclamation and a special celebration at City Council.
Pastor Hardy has dedicated his life to serving the Portland community. From head start education and youth ministry programs, to mental health and addiction services, he has been a steadfast leader and advocate for those in need.
Through his efforts, Pastor Hardy has touched the lives of many. People from all over came to Council to share their appreciation, love, and respect, including former Oregon Senator Avel Gordly, who said, “He is a master teacher, teaching us how to live and how to die.”
Pastor Hardy’s legacy will inspire our community for generations to come.
