Today we celebrate the social, political, cultural, and economic achievements of women.

This year’s theme is ‘pledge for parity.’ Women around the world make great contributions to society, but still face gender inequalities.

It’s up to us to work together to break glass ceilings and create positive social changes. Everyone in our community deserves equal opportunities and pay.

I want to acknowledge the women leaders I have the honor of working with, including in my bureaus, my Chief of Staff, and my policy advisers.
