RACC awards Arts Equity Grants to 21 local organizations
June 2, 2016
The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) awarded $119,380 in Arts Equity Grants to 21 local organizations!
Of the 21 selected for grants, 11 are receiving RACC support for the first time.
The Art Equity Grant Program provides financial support to nonprofits dedicated to arts and culture programs and services for diverse communities, including communities of color, immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ communities, persons with disabilities, and other under-represented communities.
The grants are funded by the City of Portland’s Arts Education & Access Fund, along with support from Multnomah County.
Nick is proud to serve as Council liaison to RACC, as it’s committed to funding diverse and accessible arts programs that reach all people in our community.
