Energy Trust of Oregon Awards the Portland Water Bureau for Energy Efficiency
March 15, 2017
The Portland Water Bureau works hard to reduce its carbon footprint and save ratepayers’ money.
Today, Energy Trust of Oregon presented the Water Bureau with a $499,999 award for its innovative Hannah Mason Pump Station. The energy-efficient station moves 14 million gallons of water through Southwest Portland each day using both gravity and cutting-edge technology.
The Water Bureau will use the award to help fund construction of the pump station.
