Supporting TNC Drivers
April 30, 2018
Today, Nick joined a rally at City Hall to support Transportation Network Company (TNC) drivers.
The rally, organized by the Oregon AFL-CIO, called for the City to create a “Wage Board,” a community oversight group made up of TNC representatives, drivers, consumers, and regulators. The goal is to give drivers a voice in the workforce.
As a City Commissioner, Nick’s primary concern is protecting workers and consumers, and making sure that TNCs play by the rules. He supports the creation of a TNC Wage Board.
