In accordance with Office of Equity and Human Rights' rule-making procedures (3.128.030 of City Code Chapter 3.128) we are giving notice and an opportunity to review and provide feedback on the proposed Office of Equity and Human Rights Administrative Rules amendments:
An internal evaluation and the City Auditor’s Report from December 13, 2016, “Americans with Disabilities Act: Coordination gaps complicate City response” (Report #476), found the current complaint policy lacking both in direction and defined roles and responsibilities. In response, The Office of Equity and Human rights is making the following updates and amendments to the ADA Title II and Civil Rights Title VI complaint procedure.
