Claudia Claudio is a Mexican-American woman who was raised in Santa Ana, California and St. Johns Portland, Oregon. She most recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Advertising Management from Portland State University in the Spring of 2018. As the Project Assistant for the Portland Committee on Community-Engaged Policing (PCCEP) Claudia supports committee members in building community engagement and trust between the Portland community and the Portland Police Bureau.
Claudia is a freelance writer with a passion for creative writing. She is also the Media Specialist and mentor for the Portland Rose Network a mentorship program that focuses on mentoring young women of color in the Portland area. Claudia’s drive and purpose is to use her writing, whether that is through creative writing, copywriting, public relations, social media blogging or mentorship, to help create change in her communities and inspire others. During her free time Claudia enjoys creating art with her 8 year-old daughter and listening to Jazz.
