Portland chefs visit Japan

Portland's favorite past-times unite -- food and talking about Portland! Chef Gregory Gourdet and sous chef Nick Schultz (Departure Restaurant) and Stacey Givens (The Side Yard) are traveling to Japan next month, ready to evangelize Portland's foodie culture and passion. Gourdet and Schultz will be promoting their new book True Portland: The Unofficial Guide for Creative People, commissioned by Travel Portland, while Givens will be cooking and serving authentic Side Yard style meals.
