Christine Lewis joined the City of Portland’s Office of Government relations as a state lobbyist for the 2017 legislative session. Christine most recently ran the historic 2016 housing bond measure campaign, successfully securing $258.4 million in dedicated funding for affordable housing in the City of Portland. She brings a decade of experience working in Oregon at the local and state government levels including policy, advocacy, and political roles. Her experience in the State Legislature includes working for leadership of both chambers, including serving as Deputy Legislative Director for House Speaker Tina Kotek. Christine graduated from Reed College, where she obtained a degree in Anthropology. She sits on the boards of Minds Matter Portland, Oregon Women’s Campaign School, Oregon League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, and Emerge Oregon.
