A descendent of the Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold and a Pacific Northwest native, Stone has lived in Portland for over 20 years. In previous roles, he served as a Field Representative for Congressman Earl Blumenauer here in Oregon’s Third District, covering several issue areas including Tribal Affairs, Veteran Affairs and taxes. He also brings experience as a youth mentor, having previously served as a Community Counselor at the NAYA Many Nations Academy and currently serving as Permanency Intern at the Oregon Department of Human Services in the Indian Child Welfare Unit. With great pride, he aims to serve the Indigenous community in around the Portland area.
Having already received an undergraduate degree from Portland State University in 2017, Stone is currently working towards his Master of Social Work from the same institution. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Oregon's natural treasures with his dog, Prince.
