The OMF 2018-2020 Strategic Plan is designed as a roadmap for our organization over the next two years. It is based upon a large body of industry research and employee input.
The plan focuses on addressing three strategies: “Adopting 21st Century Business Solutions”, “Developing an Inclusive and Talented Workforce”, and “Leading Citywide Initiatives”. OMF held work sessions in which employees proposed tactics to help achieve the three strategies. All ideas from these sessions were shared with the OMF Leadership Team. OMF Bureau Directors then determined the highest priority tactics to include under each strategy in the plan.
The purpose of the plan is to focus and inspire, not dictate how the work is done. Therefore, the plan's tactics are purposefully broad. This allows those doing the work to determine how to accomplish the tactic and support each strategy.
