Equitable Contracting and Purchasing Commission Meeting Announcement
On February 25, 2015, City Council established the Equitable Contracting and Purchasing Commission by Ordinance No. 187030. The Commission will review and monitor Citywide contracting practices and advise City Council on efforts most directly related to increasing City contracts with minority- and women-owned businesses.
The Commission’s initial meeting will be held on April 28, 2015, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in Pettygrove Room in City Hall located at 1221 SW Fourth Ave., Portland, OR 97204.
The meeting agenda includes the following:
- Welcome and introductions
- Comments from Mayor Hales
- Background on the City contracting
- Commission purpose
- Member Q&A
- Meeting schedule
- Public comment
- Closing
