Veterans Memorial Coliseum Options Study Released

The City of Portland has released the Veterans Memorial Coliseum Options Study along with the consultant reports. The City is interested in your thoughts about the Study.

The Veterans Memorial Coliseum Option Study began in September, 2014 and provides a comparative examination of different potential options for the Coliseum. The options include:

- Continue Current Operations/Temporary Closure
- Permanent Closure/Deconstruct for Future Development
- Renovate/Remodel/Transform (with five different scenarios considered) 

A team of consultants provided analyses to inform the study including architectural design work, construction cost estimates, market analysis, and financial analyses. The Study consolidates and summarizes the consultants’ reports. All of the reports – and a survey about the reports – are available to the public at portlandoregon.gov/cao/vmc.
