The Ombudsman's Office used to ask all customers to complete an online customer survey. Attached is a survey screen shot and results summary from 2008 report. They discontinued conducting this survey do to low response rate. Contact Ombudsman for info.
The Audit Services division began conducted a survey of all auditees as follow up to audits conducted in 2009. Results have been useful to better understand audited bureaus perspectives. For more information contact Robert Cowan, 503-823-3610
2010 IPR Annual Report includes data from its Complainant Survey, implemented in 2002. Survey was developed by Campbell De Long Resources, Inc and is sent to all complainants on a bimonthly basis. IPR uses survey data to improve pocesses.

Reports include survey results. Surveys mailed to all complainants and an online version also available. In 2009, Office received overall positive satisfaction rating of 75%.
To more effectively solicit feedback and concerns from the public, the Auditor initiated a Fraud Alert Line ? (1-866-342-4148, http://www.portlandfraudalert.com). The Fraud Alert Line allows the public and employees to confidentially report complaints.
