Understanding Portland's Comprehensive Plan Workshop

Thursday, October 22, 2015

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

East Portland Community Center

740 SE 106th Ave,

Portland, OR 97216

Learn about Portland’s future through the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is Portland’s 20 year road map for how to build and develop our city. Join the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability and the East Portland Neighborhood Office to learn about how the current draft of the plan will affect you and your neighborhood. We’ll review the plan’s goals, strategies and projects. Then we will talk about how you and your neighborhood can have a voice in and influence the plan.

Chris Scarzello, BPS, will present maps of the proposed changes and describe community feedback to date; explain how to use the “map app”; and highlight important policy areas that community members may want to follow.

Kari Koch, EPNO, will help facilitate dialogue about the role of neighborhood activists and neighborhood associations before and after the Comprehensive Plan is adopted.

Drinks and light food will be provided.
