    Fanno Pressure Sewer Improvement Project Construction Update: July 24, 2017

    This project will replace 19 maintenance access structures in nine locations in the Garden Home area, as well as install a pressure monitoring and recording system station off SW Railroad Street. These upgrades will ensure that the Fanno Basin Sewer System will continue to handle all wastewater flows year-round and provide better monitoring of the entire sewer system in the area.

    NW Thurman Sewer Reconstruction Project Update: Design underway

    Environmental Services is designing a project in NW Thurman Street to reconstruct and increase the capacity of the 100-year-old public sewer system that carries both sewage and stormwater in the area. The NW Thurman Sewer Reconstruction Project will reconstruct 3,100 feet of public sewer pipes and construct new manholes, storm drains, and service laterals that connect private properties to the public sewer.

    St. Johns – Cathedral Park Sewer Repair Project Update: July 24 2017 Proposed Night Work -- REVISED

    Environmental Services plans to begin construction in early 2018 on a project to repair or replace over 15,000 feet, or about 3 miles, of public sewers in the St. Johns and Cathedral Park neighborhoods. Many of the sewer pipes are about 80 years old and deteriorating due to age. This project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses and streets.
